Ceremony of the Keys, Tower of London Tour and an an evening at the Yeoman Warders’ exclusive pub - the Keys
Strict Dress Code: business attire, no jeans, no trainers, gentlemen must wear jacket and tie
One of our members was able to secure this great opportunity and since it is a Friday night, and so close to the date, we have decided to open it up so you are able to invite a guest. Please register an additional guest if you are bringing a plus one. No children please as the pub only allows 18+, and all need to abide by the strict dress code above.
Meet at the main entrance of the Tower of London at 7:10pm. At 7:30pm, we will enter the Tower and be led on a private tour hosted by a Yeoman Warder (Beefeater) where we will hear about some of the more colorful aspects of the history of the Tower. After the tour, time to hit the Keys Pub! The Keys Pub is cash only so bring your pound notes. No food is available at the pub. The Yeomen hold a raffle each night to fundraise for local veterans charities (also cash only). You are free to take photos during the tour and at the pub.
At 9:30pm we will join the public tour to watch the 700 year old “Ceremony of the Keys” when the main gates are locked for the night. No photography or videos are allowed during the Ceremony. After the Ceremony, guests can leave or are welcome to go back to the pub but must leave the Tower by midnight.
There is no cost associated with this event, other than the cost of drinks and the raffle at the Keys Pub should you choose to participate (cash only).
